I believe that a woman is the center of her family and that pregnancy is an important phase in her life. How she sees herself during this time may shape who she will become. By providing a non-judgmental, safe space for her to explore her possibilities, I validate who she is and that what she does is important. I understand that by caring for a pregnant woman, I am caring for her family. As a woman matures, her needs will change. Through our relationship, we can communicate effectively and help her navigate these changes while keeping her strong and healthy throughout her life.
Annette Casey, CNM, has been delivering babies and caring for women’s health needs for 25 years. A Yuma native, she started her career by practicing as a registered nurse at Onvida Health for 15 years. She returned to graduate school at the Frontier School of Midwifery to become a certified nurse midwife.
Annette’s personal enrichment interests include spending quality time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoys quilting, crafting and gardening.
