Third-Year Residents

Navjot Dhoat, M.D.

Dr. Navjot Dhoat originates from Houston, Texas. He obtained his medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. His medical interests include sports medicine, community outreach, global health, nutrition, and preventative medicine. Dr. Dhoat prioritizes building trusting relationships with his patients and aims to extend medical care to underserved communities, advocating for health literacy, and contributing to behavioral health through mindfulness promotion. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with family, watching sports, playing basketball, hiking, and unwinding at the beach.

Karen Melara Hernandez, M.D.

Dr. Hernandez was born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. She earned her medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Honduras. Her clinical areas of interest include global health and community medicine, preventive medicine, women’s health, and geriatrics. As part of her patient care philosophy, Dr. Melara Hernandez believes in building solid relationships with her patients. She’s interested in recognizing the overall impact of their medical concerns and providing truly individualized and wholesome care. In her spare time, she enjoys creating photographic content for her lifestyle blog, traveling, running, supporting various animal shelters, and spending quality time with her family.

Luc Lanteigne, M.D.

Dr. Lanteigne was born in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. He earned a degree in Biomedical biology at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, where he subsequently completed his honors thesis in cancer cell biology with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Dr. Lanteigne earned his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine where he completed the Keith B. Taylor

Global Scholars program studying and training in various countries including the United Kingdom, Grenada and the United States. After Graduating medical school, Dr. Lanteigne completed his internship in General Surgery at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. His clinical interests include rural and community medicine, obstetrics, and emergency medicine. His patient care philosophy includes patient-oriented care, autonomy, and helping people achieve their health and life goals to serve their desired purpose in good and capable health. He enjoys classic cars, exercise, playing music, and spending time with his family.

Adam Pankowski, M.D.

Dr. Pankowski was born in Montreal, Canada. He attended the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland. He has experience studying and practicing medicine in Poland, France, Switzerland and the United States. His goal is to take the best practices from around the world to treat a diverse population.

Yash Patel, M.D.

Dr. Patel was born and raised in Limbdi, India. He earned his medical degree at GCS Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, India. His clinical areas of interest include preventive care, women’s health and community involvement. His approach to patient care emphasizes the development of enduring, trustworthy relationships with his patients. He is passionate about helping the underprivileged community by promoting health education and raising understanding of their individual needs. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring cars, outdoor activities, gardening, restorations and spending time with his family.

Maria Prince, M.D.

Dr. Prince was born in Guyana and grew up in Sint Maarten. She earned her medical degree from the Caribbean Medical University School of Medicine. Her clinical areas of interest include community medicine, urgent care, and medical education. Her patient care philosophy emphasizes treating every patient with the highest respect and forming lifelong relationships with them that continue for generations. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering, and listening to music.

Rabab Raja, M.D.

Dr. Raja was born in Pakistan and grew up in Calgary, Canada. She earned her medical degree from All Saints University School of Medicine. Her clinical areas of interest include women’s health and emergency medicine. Her patient care philosophy involves preventing chronic conditions through patient education. She is passionate about giving back to the community, providing compassionate care to underserved people, and eliminating healthcare disparities. Her interests are spending time with family and friends, cooking, and outdoor activities.

Vaiishnavi Ramesh, M.D.

Dr. Ramesh was born and raised in Hyderabad, India. She earned her medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia. Her clinical areas of interest include women’s health, pediatrics, and working with the underserved. Dr. Ramesh’s patient care philosophy is to emphasize the importance of preventative medicine and render service with compassion. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing/painting, singing, cooking, and exploring new restaurants. She is also professionally trained in an Indian classical dance form.

Vishav Sehdev, M.D.

Vishav Sehdev was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was inspired to become a physician after witnessing the devastating effects of people without homes, people with substance abuse issues, and people with mental health struggles at the motel his family owned as a child. He earned his bachelor’s in biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and earned his medical degree from Saint James School of Medicine in Anguilla, British West Indies, and during his studies developed an interest in behavioral health, underserved medicine, hospitalist, and sports medicine. His experience studying medicine and working with organizations such as the Vegas Rescue, Pilsen Food Pantry, Anguilla Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity speaks to Dr. Sehdev’s calm and empathic personality. His philosophy for patient care stems from providing competent and optimal care to patients, their families, and the community. Outside of work, Dr. Sehdev loves to root for the Las Vegas Raiders and the Vegas Golden Knights with his family and friends, he also enjoys working out to classic rock and attending live music concerts.

Sep Zichawo, M.D.

Dr. Zichawo was born in Zimbabwe, and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed a dual. Bachelor of Science degree in General Chemistry and Cellular-Molecular Biology from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. She earned her medical degree from Saint James School of Medicine Anguilla. Her clinical areas of interest include emergency medicine, preventative medicine, behavioral health, hospital medicine and aesthetic medicine. Dr. Zichawo’s patient care philosophy involves seeing patients as more than a specific injury or condition, but rather a complex individual with health, lifestyle, emotional and other factors that must be weighed carefully to gain optimal results. Her personal interests include traveling, cooking, working out, spending time with family and cheering for her favorite sports teams.

Second-Year Residents

Lesley Doherty, M.D.

Dr. Lesley Doherty hails from Toronto, Canada, where she completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and philosophy at the University of Toronto. She earned her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in the Cayman Islands. Dr. Doherty’s clinical interests include a holistic approach to patient care, improving access to care, and academic medicine, with a special focus on neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative disease. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, nature photography, and reading.

Lucas Dohil, D.O.

Dr. Lucas Dohil was born in Vancouver, Canada, and grew up in San Diego, California. He completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of California, San Diego. After college, he dedicated two gap years to research and healthcare missions before earning his medical degree from California Health Sciences University in Clovis, California. Dr. Dohil’s clinical interests include sports medicine, preventative care, and obesity/weight management. He is passionate about community outreach and serving underprivileged communities, striving to build lasting relationships with his patients based on mutual respect and trust. In his free time, he enjoys cross-country running, cooking, watching sports, cleaning, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Shanka Edwards, M.D.

Dr. Shanka Edwards was born and raised in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. She earned her medical degree from Trinity School of Medicine on the island of Saint Vincent. Her clinical interests include women’s health, geriatrics, preventative care, and community service. Dr. Edwards advocates for a threefold approach to health, addressing physical, mental, and spiritual aspects for optimal care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys crafting, thrifting, and exploring the outdoors.

Naseha Fathima, M.D.

Dr. Naseha Fathima is originally from Hyderabad, India. She pursued her medical degree at Deccan College of Medical Science in Hyderabad. Dr. Fathima’s clinical interests include cardiology, women’s health, and global medicine. With a patient-centered approach, she believes in building strong relationships with her patients to provide personalized care, emphasizing empathy and communication. In her leisure time, she enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines through travel and spending time with family and friends.

Grace Garratt, M.D.

Dr. Grace Garratt is originally from Alberta, Canada. She attended the University of Lethbridge for her undergraduate degree and studied biochemistry at the University of Calgary. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University, graduating from the Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program. Dr. Garratt enjoys traveling and most outdoor activities, especially hiking.

Dr. Navroop Kaur Momi was born and raised in Punjab, India. She earned her medical degree from Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. Her clinical interests include urgent care, preventative medicine, and hospital medicine. Dr. Momi’s patient care philosophy emphasizes attentive listening, compassion, and building long-lasting relationships based on trust and respect. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Arbaaz Shariff Naushad, M.D.

Dr. Arbaaz Shariff Naushad is a native of Bangalore, India. He earned his medical degree from Trinity School of Medicine. Dr. Naushad is passionate about integrative medicine and community health, focusing on enhancing lifestyles alongside treating illnesses. In his free time, he enjoys mastering his soccer skills, hiking, camping, and perfecting his barbecue skills.

Patience O. Okorodudu, M.D.

Dr. Patience O. Okorodudu was born and raised in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. She earned her medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine in Saint Kitts and Nevis. Her clinical areas of interest include preventative and community medicine, women’s health, urgent care, and point-of-care ultrasonography. Dr. Okorodudu’s patient care philosophy is to see patients as whole individuals, tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs and circumstances. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, cooking, exploring new cuisines, spending time with friends and family, and nurturing her plant collection.

Parth Patel, M.D.

Dr. Parth Patel is originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He completed his undergraduate studies at McMaster University and earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto. He obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada. Dr. Patel’s approach to patient care is comprehensive, integrating physical, mental, and social aspects of health. He believes in fostering strong patient-doctor relationships built on empathy and education. His clinical interests include outpatient and hospital medicine, community medicine, healthcare research, public health, and preventative medicine. Outside of medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys playing the piano, reading non-fiction, and spending time with friends and family.

Ishani Trada, M.D.

Dr. Ishani Trada was born and raised in Gujarat, India. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Barbados. Dr. Trada is a passionate fitness advocate, dedicated to counseling patients and their families on achieving physical fitness and embracing healthy lifestyles. Her commitment to holistic care includes preventative health measures and mental wellness. She is driven by a commitment to serve underserved communities and actively promotes medical justice, with a particular focus on women’s health and obstetrics care. Dr. Trada also finds fulfillment in mentoring medical students. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and cherishing moments spent with her mother.

First-Year Residents

Muhammad Arsal, M.D.

Dr. Arsal was born and raised in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and earned his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College. After completing medical school, he moved to Goodyear, Arizona, where he gained valuable experience working in a variety of primary care and specialty clinics, serving patients across the Valley. His clinical interests include sports medicine, obesity and weight management, endocrinology, and preventive care.

For Dr. Arsal, family medicine means standing in the gap—ensuring that no patient is left behind, regardless of their background, barriers, or story. He is grateful to call Arizona home, surrounded by family and a community he is honored to serve.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Arsal enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing tennis, watching indie films, and explaining why he’s proud to be a Hufflepuff.

Ahmed Burooj, M.D.

Dr. Burooj was born in Moradabad, India and grew up in Dubai, UAE. He earned his medical degree from Tbilisi State Medical University, Georgia. His medical areas of interest include integrative medicine, tackling healthcare disparities and patient advocacy. He is a strong advocate for holistic, culturally sensitive medicine that takes socioeconomic well being into consideration. In his spare time, he enjoys running, cycling, reading and gaming.

Fadi Elissa Darwich, M.D.

Dr. Eissa was born and raised in Tunisia. He pursued his medical education abroad, earning his medical degree in 2024 from Caucasus International University in Georgia. During his studies, he gained valuable clinical experience in both Russia and Georgia, which enriched his perspective on global healthcare systems.

His clinical interests include preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, and comprehensive primary care. Dr. Eissa believes in a collaborative approach to medicine, partnering with patients to treat them as a whole â•flphysically, emotionally, and socially.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys learning new languages, traveling, cycling, and spending quality time with family.

Akil Kingselin, M.D.

Dr. Akil Kingselin was born in Marthandam, Tamilnadu and grew up in the costal region of Chennai, Tamilnadu. He earned his medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University, St.Lucia. His clinical areas of interest would include preventive medicine and community outreach. He believes that optimal patient care involves fostering open communication and actively making an effort to understand the situation from the patient’s perspective. In his free time, he enjoys playing cricket, working out in the gym, traveling and exploring new places.

Tanishq Kesani, M.D.

Dr. Tanishq Kesani is a Family Medicine resident at Onvida Health with a passion for chronic disease management, preventive care, and building lasting patient relationships. Originally from Andhra Pradesh, India, he brings a global perspective shaped by clinical experiences in both India and the U.S. His interests include research, education, and using storytelling to simplify medicine. Outside the hospital, he enjoys photography, cooking, and working out to recharge and stay grounded. He is committed to delivering holistic, compassionate care to underserved communities.

Bhavishya Narra, M.D.

Dr. Bhavishya Narra was born and raised in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. She earned her medical degree from Guntur Medical College. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, women’s health, and preventive care. She is particularly passionate about advancing health literacy, with a focus on empowering women to actively participate in their healthcare through education and advocacy.

Dr. Narra believes that the role of a physician goes beyond ensuring health and survival—it is to enable well-being.

Guided by this philosophy, she strives to deliver care that is thoughtful, individualized, and rooted in long-term impact. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, she is dedicated to contributing to initiatives that promote community health through both clinical work and public health engagement.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Narra enjoys reading, cooking, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Tolulope Oladele, M.D.

Dr. Tolulope Oladele is from Mono, Ontario in Canada. She earned her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario before pursuing her medical education at the University of Pécs Medical School in Hungary. Her areas of clinical interest include preventative care, lifestyle medicine and behavioural health. She is passionate about health education and is committed to empowering patients with the guidance and confidence they need to take ownership of their health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, spending time with her family, and knitting

Vishva Patel, M.D.

Dr. Vishwa Patel was born in Unjha, Gujarat, India, and brings a deep passion for preventative care to her medical practice. She is especially committed to serving underserved communities, where she believes building trust and understanding with patients is essential to delivering truly comprehensive care. Dr. Patel emphasizes treating not only physical ailments but also supporting patients’ mental and emotional well-being, striving to offer the comfort and compassion every individual deserves.

Education and empowerment are central to Dr. Patel’s approach—she is a strong advocate for raising awareness and educating patients as a vital part of the healing process. Shailee Shroff, M.D.

Dr. Shailee Shroff was born in Vapi and grew up in Valsad, Gujarat, India. She earned her medical degree from GMERS Medical College, Himmatnagar. Her clinical interests include integrative medicine, behavioral health, and community outreach. Her patient care philosophy is rooted in a patient-centered approach—guided by empathy, active listening, and a commitment to seeing each individual as more than just a diagnosis. In her spare time, she enjoys reading novels, writing, and engaging in fun, outdoor adventurous activities.

Gurpreet Singh, M.D.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh grew up in Fiji. She earned her medical degree from Fiji National University. Dr. Singh’s approach to family medicine emphasizes patient-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and building long-term therapeutic relationships. She is committed to advancing health equity and is eager to continue her journey as a family medicine resident, where she can integrate her global clinical experience with evidence-based practice in the U.S. healthcare system. In her spare time, she loves reading books and going on hiking trails.

Syeda Isra Tahera, M.D.

Dr. Syeda Isra Tahera was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, and earned her medical degree from Dow Medical College. She has a strong interest in women’s health, cardiology, point-of-care ultrasonography, and hospital medicine.

Her approach to patient care is rooted in empathy and a holistic understanding of each patient’s life, aiming to integrate their personal circumstances into thoughtful, individualized health management plans.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Tahera treasures time with her family—especially her daughter, who inspires her every day. She also enjoys cycling and finds unparalleled comfort in watching sunsets.
