CalendarFor the month of September, Onvida Health will go GOLD in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. We’re partnering with AdvoKATE to gather for a heartwarming lighting ceremony to raise awareness and show support for pediatric cancer patients, survivors and their families.
The Cancer Center Serenity Garden will be bathed in a soft, golden glow as candles are lit and necklaces shine in unison to honor children and families who have faced a diagnosis of pediatric cancer. After the illumination, attendees will walk around the exterior of the hospital to the Emergency Department, which will also be illuminated in gold.
This event marks the start of a month-long campaign to light the hospital gold each night as a tribute to Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. The display visually represents the Onvida Health’s dedication to supporting families in our community, putting patients first, and its commitment to advancing healthcare.
