Onvida Health has received the 2026 KLAS Arch Collaborative EHR Experience Breakthrough Recognition, a national honor that recognizes healthcare organizations making significant improvements in the tools and technology clinicians use to care for patients.
The recognition reflects the ongoing work across Onvida Health to make the electronic health record (EHR) easier, more efficient and more effective for the people who use it every day.
While patients may never see the EHR system directly, it plays an important role behind the scenes. It helps care teams access medical information, coordinate treatment, communicate with one another and document care. When these systems work better, clinicians can spend less time navigating technology and more time focused on their patients.
“This recognition is really about our people,” said Marc Chasin, M.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Digital & Information Officer at Onvida Health. “Over the years, our physicians, nurses and support teams have shared feedback, identified opportunities for improvement and worked together to create a better experience for the clinicians who care for our community every day. We are honored to receive this recognition, but even more proud of the teamwork behind it.”
The KLAS Arch Collaborative brings together healthcare organizations from across the country to better understand and improve the experience clinicians have with electronic health records. Organizations receiving the Breakthrough Recognition have demonstrated significant improvement in clinician satisfaction between measurements.
For Onvida Health, the recognition represents a shared commitment to supporting caregivers and creating an environment where clinicians can do what they do best: care for patients.
“When we invest in making work better for our physicians and nurses, we also invest in better care for our patients,” said Dr. Chasin. “This achievement belongs to every team member who helped us listen, learn and improve.”
The award was formally presented during the KLAS Arch Collaborative Learning Summit on July 29.
