We believe in keeping kids healthy.

Making sure the children of our community get a healthy start in life is a priority for Onvida Health. The Foundation supports several programs to help meet that goal.

Healthy Kids at Home Program

Offered at no cost to families that have children between the ages of 7 and 12, the Healthy Kids at Home Program is a five-week program that allows kids to participate virtually to learn how to choose healthy foods, the importance of staying active and how to develop lifelong healthy habits.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Babies who are born at Onvida Health prematurely or with a medical condition receive an advanced level of care from the neonatal specialists in the hospital’s 20-bed NICU. It is licensed by the State of Arizona as a Level III NICU, which means it is capable of caring for the smallest and most medically-challenged newborns.

Pediatric Oncology Support Fund

The Pediatric Oncology Support Fund at the Foundation provides financial assistance to deserving families of children in Yuma County battling cancer. The Foundation provides grants, up to $2,500.00 annually, to minimize the financial hardship that is directly attributable to the child’s illness.
