Yuma East Main Canal Path Interactive Mural Instruction Video
About Yuma’s First Interactive Mural
The Yuma Interactive Mural is an augmented reality (AR) mural located along the East Main Canal Path, brought to you by Onvida Health and the City of Yuma. The mural was created by San Diego artists Dana Owens and Matthew Oliveri and uses AR technology to bring animated, interactive, and hidden storytelling elements to the physical artwork when viewed through a smartphone.
This mural has six QR codes, each unlocking something fun and educational!
Instructions
- Scan each QR code (placed above the mural) one by one with your phone.
- When you scan a code, click the link that appears. A page will open on your phone’s internet browser.
- Stand on the Onvida Health spark ground markers, about 20 feet from the mural, hold your phone horizontally and point your camera at that section.
