Folasade M. Ajayi, M.D., earned her medical degree from National Pirogov Memorial Medical University in Vinnitsa, Ukraine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ, followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at New York Medical College at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ.
Dr. Ajayi believes in treating the person, not just the diagnosis. Her approach to care is centered on listening closely, communicating clearly and developing treatment plans that reflect each patient’s goals, values and priorities.
Her clinical interests include benign hematological disorders, breast cancer and colon cancer.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ajayi enjoys reading, traveling, exploring diverse cuisines, spending time with family and appreciating film.
