Biography

Imelda Lamela started her nursing career by practicing as a registered nurse for more than a decade. Her interests took her back to graduate school where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and became a nurse practitioner. Imelda also completed additional training to certify as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

When she’s not taking care of patients, Imelda likes to travel with her husband and children.
