Biography

Maria Fereira, M.D., earned her medical degree from La Universidad de Zulia School of Medicine in Maracaibo, Zulia, Venezuela. She completed her internal medicine residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Fereira’s care philosophy centers on treating the patient as a whole and partnering with them as they navigate their health journey. Her clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension and obesity.

When Dr. Fereira is not working with patients, she enjoys spending time with her family (she has three kids and five chickens), taking care of her mom, reading, listening to her children play piano and going to the gym. She is also a self-taught hairdresser, cake decorator and interior designer.
